Kuwait Chamber of Commerce: Enhancing trade and investment relati

Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Chairman Ali Al-Ghanim stressed the chamber's keenness to enhance trade and investment relations with Saudi Arabia by setting up joint projects within the framework of the Kuwaiti development plan and achieving economic integration between the two countries.
"The Chamber is ready to provide all necessary facilities to Saudi companies and work to overcome the obstacles they face, if any," Al Ghanim said in his speech at the Kuwaiti-Saudi Economic Forum held by the chamber today in cooperation with the Council of Saudi Chambers.
He added that "the exchange of visits and closer ties between the two sides give the companies of the two countries in the business value added and maximize the benefit for the parties, as well as to overcome the difficulties facing the two sides."
For his part, Saudi Chamber Council Chairman Eng. Ahmad Al-Rajhi praised in a similar speech the "pioneering" role played by the Kuwaiti Chamber in developing the economic relationship between the two countries and its positive cooperation with the Council of Saudi Chambers.
Al Rajhi stressed that the possibilities available to the two countries provide broad areas for joint trade and investment cooperation, expressing the hope that efforts will be made to facilitate the movement of trade exchange and create an environment suitable for the Saudi and Kuwaiti business sector.
In his turn, the representative of the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development in Kuwait presented at the meeting Hamid Al-Aidan a presentation on the comprehensive development plan of the State of Kuwait, which dealt with analysis and follow-up of the development plan in (Vision 2035).
For his part, the Assistant Director General for Business Development of the Kuwait Investment Promotion Agency, Mohammad Yaqoub, gave an explanation on the investment climate in Kuwait and some of the advantages and incentives provided by Kuwait to the foreign investor. For his part, the Director of Business Development at the Saudi General Authority for Investment, Hisham Al-Fozan, gave an overview of the investment opportunities available in the Kingdom under the vision of the Kingdom 2030, which aims to attract more investors from outside the Kingdom.
The Director General of Export Environment at the Saudi Export Development Authority, Mazen Al-Hammad, gave a presentation on the Authority and the services it provides.
The Kuwaiti economic delegation aims at boosting trade and investment relations between the two countries in the presence of a delegation of 40 members representing private companies and Saudi government bodies, as well as the presence of a number of Kuwaiti businessmen and representatives of Kuwaiti government agencies.
